Biography

Alessandra Ginsburg is a Swiss-based Functional Nutrition Therapist dedicated to advancing women’s hormonal and digestive health, with a particular focus on perimenopause and menopause. She leads her private practice, Nutrition-Therapy.ch, in Zürich, integrating clinical nutrition, advanced diagnostic testing (hormonal, metabolic, stool, and DNA analysis), and microbiome-centered therapeutic strategies to restore gut function, hormonal balance, and metabolic resilience.

Her educational background spans globally recognized institutions such as the Stanford Center for Health Education, the Institut Français de Micro-Immunothérapie, the University of Geneva (CAS in Eating and Behavior), and the Functional Nutrition Alliance. Accredited by ASCA and RME, she works in French, Italian, English, and German, serving a diverse, multicultural clientele.


Research Interest

Alessandra’s research focuses on the gut–hormone axis and its vital role in women’s health. She studies how hormonal fluctuations during perimenopause influence the gut microbiome, affecting metabolic, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing. Her clinical work emphasizes a personalized, integrative approach that bridges functional nutrition, microbiome research, and hormonal therapy to optimize health outcomes for women in midlife.
